Sorry dude, but OP really does make some amazing points. Besides, what he's pretty much said is to take responsibility for your own growth. Instead of portraying a victim mentality and doing nothing to help yourself. It's generic advice that applies to many things but it's EFFECTIVE. Also, it's hardly "idiotic positivity bullshit" if there's been countless scientific studies and books made about these things. Seriously, there's books dating as far back as 1930s that speak of the subconscious mind, law of attraction, cause and effect etc. Shit, I think Seneca and Marcus Aurelius talk about it in their books from thousands of years ago! Spend a day on the internet looking for these things and you'll find an abundance of info. I get it if you feel it's a bit far out there. It always is to people at first. But please keep an open mind to everything. Everybody's experience is different and there's no one way to look at things.
