I went to the speech and stuttering institute 20 years ago and was taught outdated and unhelpful therapy. I checked their website and they still use much of the same writing so I would not recommend them. Finding a good SLP is the hardest part. I would personally avoid those who focus on teaching "techniques" or "tools" or who talk about fluency.
