What I did for this big Zoom presentation with +200 people that I had a couple months back was that I had some people from the stuttering discord listen in during my zoom presentation and it comfort my nerves. For my in-person presentation I had two weeks ago, I just kept telling myself “tomorrow after 2 pm, I would have already presented it and I will go on with my life even if I do horrible” Tips: practice on zoom calls/via phone/with a small audience of friends, family, coworkers, etc. Tips (if school presentation): let the professor know about your stuttering. Also, you can ask about CSA accommodations and do voice recordings Tips (if work): If you are comfortable let your coworkers know you have a slight “speech impediment”. Also, you can ask about CSA accommodations and do voice recordings *Also keep in mind that Fluent people don’t focus as much on speech as we do. If you stutter on one word don’t let that ruin your confidence, no one is paying much attention on it.
