I 100% did not expect this scene from the series at all! Very well represented. Story time! ~ Im in the US Air Force [13 years next month!] When we are in training at our first base, we ha e to read these volumes of books called a Career Development Course. Each volume is about 100 pages. At the end of the last volume, you have to do a verbal review wth certain people in your chain of command, mine just so happened to have to go through my: shift lead, supervisor, NCOIC, section chief, flight chief, and finally my squadron chief. When I finally got through to the squadron chief, she asked me a few questions and I was visibly nervous and stuttering A LOT. She stopped the questions right there, closed the volume that she was pulling questions from and told me something that has stuck with me for the past 10ish years now.."You have very important things to say, if it takes an little longer to say, oh well, it not your problem. Anybody that you are talking to can wait to see what it is." That alone has gotten me through so many briefings its not even funny!
