I can't really speak to the actions of others specifically, but maybe it is an accident? I know I often hit the "report" button on accident because it looks similar to the "reply" button. I can't remember the last time that happened to me though. Atleast they're trying? I don't think they're pretending to have all of the answers but they're trying. Maybe it is because "overcoming" can at times be a bit of hot issue for some of us stutters? I really don't know. I think at large one of thing things I dislike the most is people "tip-toeing" or treating me like I'm less than just because I stutter and someone, anyone trying to create a dialog (like the Broca brothers) should hopefully minimize this unnecessary stigma we all receive.
