Hello! My name is Viktor 19M from Bulgaria. I conquered my stutter one year ago and now I help people on the Internet XD. If you want to read a detailed guide of what I did, you can do so [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/Stutter/comments/1iej02e/how_i_conquered_my_stutter_got_jacked_at_the_same/). (It's a Reddit post) I also had a problem like you with Introductions. This is exactly what I did specifically to tackle this problem (I share the major speech improvement routine in the above post). I met with 2 new people per week, introducing myself and asking their name in return. The rule was that they had to be complete strangers and I had to somehow get their name through conversation. I recorded every collected name in my journal. At the start of that year I sent myself a challenge to collect 100 names via this way. I got to exactly 34 and I stopped counting. Safe to say, when I stopped counting, I no longer had a problem with introductions. I know this sounds scary to do, but I don't think there is a more sure-fire way to overcome this problem. And remember, you are talking with strangers, who you will probably never speak again. So, what is there to be scared of? Hope this helps! You can also freely DM me to ask any questions and catch me in one of the speech improvement sessions I host on the Stuttering Support Group. Have a great day!
