Hell no. I’m in nursing school now and working in hospitals. Very similar to yourself I failed to fully apply myself in the first half of the semester. But now I am. If this is something you truly want to do I say DO NOT drop out. However if your heart isn’t in it I would advise you to explore other options. Also with working in hospitals my stutter is almost a non factor during my 12 hour shifts. I am able to talk to patients and coworkers with some mild disfluency. Whenever I do have a stuttering moment I just advocate for myself “hey look you’re gonna notice I have a stutter just be patient with me.” And all is well in the end. TLDR: if nursing is something you want to do DO NOT give up. If not explore other options. My stutter is a non factor when working in hospitals.
