I was in speech therapy from the time I could talk until freshman year, and they said I could choose to stay in or not and that there was nothing more to really "teach" me so I stopped going. Still stutter but not nearly as bad. Still have to pause in the middle of sentence and breath if I feel it coming on. If you didnt know me as a kid, you probably wouldn't even know I have a stutter. Speech class definitely helped me a lot with my confidence.
