I've seen people say this on this sub before and it blows my mind how incredibly dumb it is. Licensed speech therapists go through university to receive degrees in speech pathology. The also have years of experience, and must maintain their certification, at least in the US. It doesn't matter if your speech therapist stutters or not. I want the best, most educated, most experienced therapist I can afford. I don't care whether if they stutter. If you needed open heart surgery, would you think your surgeon would be more qualified based on the number of operations they've performed or the number they've had done on themselves?
