Personally, I knew another family whose dad stuttered. They had 3 girls, one of them had a stutter growing up, but after speech therapy it completely went away. Adoption is also a good choice, but remember that each kid comes with their own challenges, an adopted kid has their own "suffering": they might want to go after their birth family and find an unwelcoming environment, depending on the age they might have serious trauma from being in a/or multiple foster homes, they come from backgrounds which you fully don't know, so you have no idea if you're having a kid more like you or your wife/spouse etc. For me at least, I don't want to have kids, but if I did and they had a stutter, I knew that at least I would be able to fully relate and understand them and help them through their stuttering journey.
