It’s often the transition from the vowel and onto the neighboring consonant that’s actually the problem. The vowel is being pronounced but it won’t move onto the next sound. Also, the brain timer inside a PWS is different than a non-PWS. Any delay or pause seems like foreverland when really it’s not.
