Stuttering sucks. Yes. But there is help available. Are you in the US? If so you qualify for free speech therapy services in the school system. If you have a teacher you trust and you think could be helpful I suggest you talk to them. Here are some websites you might find helpful: http://www.friendswhostutter.org/ (Lee and Steffi are fantastic people. They are both speech pathologists, but the emphasis in FRIENDS is not about therapy, per se. Lee started this group because she noticed that her son was going through some of the same things you're going through. http://www.stutteringhelp.org/ -- there are affordable resources here. Jane is passionate about helping people who stutter. This organization was founded by her father, who stuttered. There is informational content about stuttering on this site. http://www.westutter.org/ - this group has regional chapters. It might be beneficial to see if there is a chapter in your area (assuming you're in the US, that is). There may be opportunities for you to meet other teens and / or adults who stutter. There may be opportunities for your parents to meet with other parents. Hope it helps.
