Life-long stutterer here. I'm the same way with drinking. Some of my "best nights" are when I'm buzzed to drunk. I can say anything I want when I want. My friends are blown away by how much my speaking changes. I also notice that I never, ever stutter when I'm singing either unless there is a spoken part of a song. I have several other friends who stutter and they report the same thing.
