Well, I stutter and my daughter stutters also. I intentionally opted not to put my daughter into speech therapy. Both my daughter and I are mild stutterers, and my thought was to not bring more attention to the stuttering when she was young. My daughter and I don't talk about stuttering much either. She knows both of us stutters. Free speech therapy in public school didn't help me either. Anyhow, i just wanted to say, don't dwell in the past, live the now and plan the future.
