I grew laid back too, but I was very skinny and non-confrontational, so people used to always try to slap box and get their rocks off on me. Over the past few years, I've been training boxing and lifting in the gym heavy, so that a long with desensitizing myself has really improved my confidence. Just two weeks ago, I had to check the cashier at the local gas station. I was at the counter telling him what I wanted, but I stuttered, and his tone got immediately dismissive and disrespectful. Then he looked up at me and started laughing. Shit set me off and a crashed out. He looked scared af after lol. Now every time I go in their, he looks real uncomfortable. Just the other day I went in their with just my tank top on showing off my physique. He KNOWS it wouldn't end well for him if we ever got into it.
