Have you talked about all of this with your mom? Also, have you tried researching stuttering? As crazy as it seems, we still don’t know what causes it- but we do know a lot about it. Stutterers won’t stutter when singing, whispering, or when extremely upset like yelling or raising their voice at someone. Research the choral effect. Everything you’re describing is what a person with a speech disorder experiences. It sounds like you could benefit greatly from speech therapy. I say this only because it sounds like you know when and what is causing the stuttering and that it may be a mild stutter. Your mom would benefit by researching communicating with a child who stutters - rule #1 is never cut a person who stutters off and never finish their sentences for them. But regardless communication is key- talk to your mom, tell her how you’re feeling and find ways to make it a better relationship for both of you.
