I am an Industrial Designer and Project Manager. I am in front of clients often as a lot of my job is to explain the direction of projects, who, what, when, why, etc. as well as leading a team. I still do not like giving formal presentations, but in casual settings I am fine. The stuttering creates a lot of anxiety for me at first, especially when introducing myself. However when people realize I am highly adept at my job, it isn’t even a concern. ***edit, forgot to add: I am also Operations Director for a high performance driving company. I manage the events, staff, guests. I am a certified instructor as well, so I am riding students on track in a racing environment. I have to communicate loudly and effectively as I give them commands or input about their techniques. I will also narrate my mind as I drive them around too, so they can begin to understand what I am doing/thinking. It can be a bit stressful. ;)
