I’m sorry this happened. Maybe it’s just me being a Karen… but I would NOT let that slide. I think this could be a very valuable learning opportunity for everyone there. I would write a short and polite but very particularly worded letter addressed to the entire staff. Even though they didn’t outwardly mock you, the way they treated you was not okay. Even if it was with good intentions. I’ll share an experience that distressed me quite a bit. A few years ago, I was paying for gas at a local gas station. I stuttered on the pump number. And the cashier laughed at me (or mocked me, can’t remember). I rolled my eyes and walked away, not answering him if he asked if I wanted a receipt. I told my family because I was very upset. And my dad marched up there and asked to speak to a manager immediately. He told them what happened, how I have a stutter, and how the employee behaved unprofessionally. I was told that employee ended up being talked to, but I didn’t go to that gas station again for years. It’s important for us to spread awareness about stuttering. I don’t understand why people have to be rude or passive like this. Best of luck.
