Alright, we're keeping it public. I hear what you're saying. It is different to everybody. Each individual has a different experience of it and has a stutter of a different degree than others. Completely understand that. I may be new here but I see myself as different from a visitor. Let's be realistic here: To have control over anything we do takes a lot of work. Becoming fluent at another language; being the best in the world at a particular sport; running a successful business...the list goes on. Some have a burning desire to overcome their problems and live a happier life. Others will believe whatever discouraging "facts" they're told and become less fortunate as a result. It happens all the time. I'm going off topic here, let me come back. The way I overcame my stutter is somewhat unorthodox in comparison to others. Being that I improved my spiritual wellbeing and as a result saw massive improvements. Alongside that I grafted hard at developing better breathing; displaying a lot more gratitude for my small improvements and pushing myself outside of my comfort zone at all times (forcing me to take more control). From the years of coming across different forums for stuttering, and speaking to PWS's myself, I personally feel the community needs to be empowered to make positive change in their speaking. If it comes across as ignorant then my bad. But all I can comment on are the things I know work for myself and for others too.
