I newer said I am ashamed of my stutter. But I newer accepted I can’t fix it either. And I was lucky to work with some amazing experts in feel of stuttering. That’s why I know that stutter is psychological issue. Also, you stutter harder with strangers and when stressed. And less or not at all with family and friends, and when relaxed. These are psychological triggers. And you can lear how to control them. You might have genetically predisposition for these type of issues. Same as you can have predisposition for cancer or obesity. But that still means you can work and be successful in avoiding these issues and curing them if you do get them. One thing I don’t understand is why you think I am “ableist”?
