You totally don't get it. It's seriously worrying. #This is r/Stutter. #This is a forum for people who stutter, for stuttering discussion and to find help and support. This is, by extension, not a place to rant about nofap. This conversation, in similar fashion, is not a place to attack porn. It's not even a place to _defend_ porn. All of that is totally besides the point. If you think I'm attacking porn abstinence, you're wrong. You haven't read what I've been writing properly. What I _am_ attacking is pseudoscience. Exempli gratia - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NoFap#Criticism https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Masturbation#Health_effects https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Effects_of_pornography I'm sure you know those aggregated links already. That's why I didn't bother with it. You've been looking at studies and arriving at conclusions not contained in them. That's not the way we do science, buddy. You can't just play around on your own like that. So, in closing: >If its relevant to stuttering, it should be WELCOMED here. Totally agree. >I have a scientific backing No, you don't. You merely played around with connecting some dots that were entirely not your business to connect. >I will FURTHER prove that in a moments notice with peer-reviewed scientific journals No, stop pretending you're a scientist. Everyone can click on things on the internet. That doesn't make you a scientist. You can't do science on your own. Stop. Now take this noise back to the nofap crowd and have fun over there instead. --- ##- and so, to get back on track: How would you feel about visiting a speech therapist? It's been 22 years since you last visited one. It very well may benefit you to start working on it again. (_That's_ how my truce looks.)
