The second therapist was clearly uneducated with how she said you don't stutter. "Psychological blockade" is a PART of stuttering duh. Just because sometimes I don't stutter, doesn't mean that I don't have stuttering as a disorder. With this logic we'd have to stutter 100% of the time (which most of us don't) to be called stutterers. As for tapping with my fingers, my current speech therapist suggested me it and it works very good. I talk "normally" (just how I talk casually without using any technique) most of the time but when I encounter, or already know that I'd stutter badly, I use the technique and it definitely helps me.
