People will remember you! I am not joking nor mean that in a negative way. I had to give a presentation to our VPs. I am so far removed from being a VP so already nervous and stuttered horribly through the entire thing. Like you, I have blockage. In addition to that, I gave the stink eye to one of the VPs who was checking his phone during the presentation. They say when you present you control the room but I am pretty sure calling out a VP is a CLM (career limiting move). Fast forward a few years and I am in a different position. Our company had one of those events where VPs and Directors serve us minions ice cream. All the VPs greeted me by my name. They greeted no one else that way. Yeah, it's not a huge pay raise or a promotion but it made me feel pretty good. People in the audience know you are nervous and a probably thinking "I could not do what they are doing" so I think overall, you should feel pretty good about it. I know the "curl up in a ball" feeling so trying to give you positivity.
