I'm not really interested in seeing stutter used as a means of dramatizing something. A "gimmick" is a poor way of going about promoting such a phenomena. But if someone can come up with a character that actually just stutters, that'd be fine. I don't think most writers want to risk their words getting messed up in the process, though.
