Sign language wont fix the "problem", just make it more of a problem in my opinion. Also alot less people actually know sign language so youll have to end up talking and probably have to talk more when they ask why didnt you talk from the beginning. You can still learn it. You never know a deaf person could want something and the only person who can translate is you. Good to learn just cause as well.
