I work in a IT role for a small national branch of an international company, so my boss for the most part is the branch manager. He himself is not from an IT background and prefers communication in person or phone call, so I am expected to explain and account a lot of things to him. I also deal with clients who have no technical knowledge nor the patience to learn a bit so they require a translated explanation of our solutions. Unfortunately communication forms a large part of my job.
