We often get a little premonition that we're going to stutter on a particular sound or word. That’s when we should use any. That's when we should use any technique we've found helpful. It's that look of horror and pity on the listener’s face when we've been talking fluently until we block, repeat, hesitate or freeze up. We’ll do anything to avoid that look. That's when we use our superpower to substitute or revise our sentences. We have to be very intelligent to do this in a fraction of a sentence. That requires a superpower. Only we know how much effort this requires. Sue
