You don’t need to feel bad for or worry about the person on the other end of the phone. They probably have people cussing them out and yelling at them most days, so a polite person with a stutter is not even close to the worst they have to deal with. But could you get someone to make the call for you sometimes? Not that you can’t do it, but just to make your life a little easier. Talking on the phone is really hard for my husband (he’s the one who stutters), and l usually make all of the calls where it doesn’t matter whether he makes it or someone else does.
