I'm no neuroscientist, but if my limited knowledge serves me correctly, repetition builds new neuro pathways in the brain. Maybe that repetition is actually fixing the broken pathways in the brain that lead to stuttering in the first place. Again, I probably don't know what I'm talking about. But it makes sense to me.
