No girlfriend as a cause of stutter?

No girlfriend as a cause of stutter? Hello, I'm 25 (M) and I have a little problem with stuttering. I think I started noticing it when I went to the college, when I was 20, (correlation =/= causation). I don't know if it's called stuttering, but it manifests like this: when I'm in a social situation with 3 or more people and I want to engage in the conversation, 30-50% of the time I'm unable to do so. I just can't enunciate some words I want to, I can't breathe out while saying that words. You might suggest deep breathing and relaxing, but I tried that and it's not that much of a help. I still haven't figured out the exact pattern when that happens, and with which syllables (but usually I have problem with these: "ro, ra, li, ko, ya,..."). I think it's a bit worse with people I don't know but even with people I know it's sometimes bad. And important thing is, it happens only at the beginning of the sentence. When I'm already speaking, I don't have a problem enunciating those syllables. Also when I'm in a 1on1 conversation, I usually don't have that problem. Sometimes I struggle but it's way less often than talking to more people. So mostly it's when people are talking and I want to jump in to the conversation and say something, like when we are joking around and I should engage in the convo. When I went on Erasmus and spoke only English, I had this issue as well. I hoped a bit that it manifests only when speaking my mother tongue. I don't know why it started. I'm not some alpha male, but I don't have a problem with self-esteem and I'm usually not nervous when talking to strangers. But I have a little problem regarding girls. I'm 25 and I've never had a girlfriend before, which worries me. I don't have depressions or anything but I feel like deep down it bugs me. Do you think this might be the cause of my stuttering? Because clearly it's psychological. Or do you have a similar form of stuttering? And my next questions is, how to deal with the stuttering? I read some articles and reddit posts, but nothing helped me completely. I tend to change the order of the words in a sentence so I don't start with that particular syllable, but sometimes it sounds unnatural. But a little "hmm" at the beginning of the sentence I can't pronounce helps as well. Or would you suggest visiting a psychologist or a speech therapist? (but I feel like the speech therapist would try to solve the consequence, not the root cause of stuttering, but I could be wrong). Thank you for all your suggestions.
