Oh it definitely would! It's a big problem to me that many SLPs only get exposed to stuttering when they are sitting in the office "treating" it. IMO it would be great to just hear people who stutter talk about their lives in general, and how speech affects them. I try to get our NSA group to talk to the fluency classes at SLP programs in our area each year. I think it's a very important perspective!
