Honestly. Kids are mean AF. I’m a teacher and I see this every day. If you can and want to, join an after school club or a sport. People seem to gravitate to kids who play sports or are good at something other than school. Put yourself out there. At 16, everything seems so huge and impossible and that’s ok. It’s the stage and age you’re in. Please don’t sell yourself short because you stutter. I stutter too and I’ve found that exposing myself to different things allows me to control how I decide to show up. Society will never understand what it feels like to be different so why not immerse yourself in their world and them in yours. If you ever need a support group, Stutter Social on Facebook is a great place to meet other people who stutter. Look for any NSA chapters in your state. There is also Friends- The National Association of Young People Who Stutter, below is their website. https://friendswhostutter.org/virtual-teen-groups/ You’re way too young to not be enjoying your youth. Hope this helps.
