I'm an Arab American college student born and raised in Madison, Wisconsin, but I spent the first four years of my life in the United Arab Emirates. My father is Saudi, my mom is white, from Chicago. I speak English first, and a lot more Spanish than I do Arabic. I've stuttered since I can remember, but in recent years I have graduated from speech therapy. I am surprised to see so many different combinations of ethnicities and languages here. There seems to be a correlation between growing up at least hearing several languages and stuttering.
