Once I realized that 1. people don't view stuttering as negatively, (everyone stutters, we just tend to do it more often) and 2. There isn't a ton I can do about it It became easier for me to 'accept' my stutter. Once you accept your stutter, you tend to struggle less and stutter more openly! And if you stutter more openly, you'll eventually have a decreased fear of stuttering!
