My husband has one, and it really seems like magic, it works so well... if you're in a perfectly quiet environment. Restaurant? Almost too loud to talk normally, much less once you double every sound. Want to watch TV or listen to the radio and chat at the same time? Sure! Who doesn't like their music distorted and creepified? But sure, for special occasions like sitting around the dinner table with the in-laws, or that job interview you're stressed about, it really is like an instant miracle. Up to you if that's worth the price.
