Public Speaking VR App + Headset = Awesome Practice Hey guys. So there's this really neat app called "Public Speaking VR" that you can download for free in the google play store and once you get it hooked up to your phone and cardboard VR headset, you can actually simulate a public speaking environment very, very easily. You'll get used to people looking at you and asking you various questions on whatever you need to practice on. Debates, job interviews, etc. The app has scenarios like job interviews, classroom settings, public speaking at jobs etc. And each of the scenarios has people asking you customized questions on your field (What kind of social media campaign would you run for our company?). From STEM fields, tech, advertising, so much - all with simulated people looking at you and nodding their head. There's a timer and a button that prompts your digital crowd to ask you pertinent questions. It's basically a great tool to practice getting used to being around people staring at you and asking you questions. I've been practicing in my room and I thought I would share it. You'll need a smartphone with a gyroscope in it (most phones nowadays have them, if you can play a racing game and turn your car with your phone then your phone can do VR) and you'll need a cheap cardboard headset that you can get off amazon or bestbuy for $15 to $30. Just some words of encouragement. I'm in my thirties and my stutter is 5000% better but I still get nervous and choked up when I do public speaking in front of unfamiliar people. There isn't really a cure except for practice and a positive attitude. Good luck everyone!
