Did anyone(or does anyone know someone who) a manged to 'cure' their stutter?

Did anyone(or does anyone know someone who) a manged to 'cure' their stutter? Ive constantly heared that Stuttering is something that has no cure. People say speech therapy helps coping but nothing can cure your stutter. I want to know how you guys feel about this statememt and if you or anyone u know has managed to get over their stutter or possibly 'cure' it
