CBD, non-THC So it seems that the CBD can be extracted from the marijuana plant. It's non-psychotropic because the THC is removed. It's legal, almost like hemp (it can be ordered). The catch is that a drug test may be positive for marijuana. The dosage is not known. I don't suspect it would cure the stuttering, but it may decrease the avoidance or anxiety. The pricing seems to be all over the place. Has anyone tried it? There is a lot of info out there to research. Update: Found some bad news. So much research has been done since I previously did research on CBD (it was hard to get back then). I found [Webmd.com](https://Webmd.com) info that says THC can actually increase anxiety. Also CBD can give you liver damage, and therefore a doctor must monitor the usage of this. An individual should also know the symptoms of liver damage and increase their liver repair foods like avocados and grapefruit to slow the possibility of damage. Taking a low CBD dosage is important also, for those who can try it. [https://www.webmd.com/pain-management/news/20180507/cbd-oil-all-the-rage-but-is-it-safe-effective#1](https://www.webmd.com/pain-management/news/20180507/cbd-oil-all-the-rage-but-is-it-safe-effective#1) The webmd article is probably a summary of the research they have found so far. So it probably leaves out some of the stuff that has not had real research done. People are excited and are saying it cures or helps so much. The good news is that so much research is being done. And there is a good legal strand out there that may get lots of research. CBD is improving. Update: I do want to caution that you have to make sure the manufacturer still exists. The retailers may not know it. And there are products that might have synthetics mixed in. So whenever something is not working, don't stick with it. And always research the manufacturer/brand website.
