Hello, I'm new and here and want to ask if you guys have any tips for avoiding stuttering while reading. I'm a 16 year old male who has had a stutter my whole life. Here's a little background, I have had a stutter my whole life and my family hasn't ever brought me down or usually tried rushing me through words. I have dealt with the occasional teasing and snarky comment and ironically one of my closest friends didn't realize I had a stutter till we did a presentation together and that was after I had known him a year. Anyway I generally don't have a horrible stutter I just can't pronounce certain sounds all the time like B's and D's and the occasional G. So I have to read out loud in English class and it's a drag cause I get caught up on words and feel foolish does anyone have any advice on how to avoid stuttering while reading?
