I want to provide some basic info: 1. I conquered my stuttering permanently- this means that I am fluent 97% of the time and even if I stutter it is mild and unnoticeable. I forget about it immediately. I don't believe being fluent 100% of the time is a good goal to have, because nobody is perfect and you are being too hard on yourself. 2. I did it through a mix of speech exercises at home, reading books and reading dictionaries as part of my daily routine for 40 min every day. 3. I also started weightlifting with the sole purpose to get as big and fit as possible. This boosted my confidence and self-esteem. I believe I wouldn't have managed to stick to the habits long without it. 4. It took me 2 years to defeat stuttering. 5. Day-to-day I don't use any fluency shaping techniques. I just talk normally without giving even one thought about my fluency.
