It won’t hurt to take him to a speech pathologist, they’ll know the best steps to take. He may grow out of it at some point, but it’s best to address it early on. Also, be sure to let his teachers know about it and explain stuttering to them as many probably haven’t taught a child who stutters. Most importantly, just talk to your son about it and listen to him. Be patient and encourage him.
