We all go through this OP, you are not alone. No matter your age you will always come back to think of this but there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Just this past May I started working at a great place. I go in everyday and love what I do. I work as a busser/server at a very fancy retirement community and not a day goes by that my family (they really are like a huge family to me in addition to my own) tell me how much they love talking to me everyday. They don’t care how long it takes for me to tell them about the time my mom told my dad ups was at the door for him when she meant UPS (United Postal Service). They love to hear me talk and before I took the job here I was in a dark place. I contemplated suicide many times because of my stutter among other things, I won’t lie. Now though I couldn’t be happier and I am only 23. It’s true there are some people who don’t like me but there will be grouches at any place you go. Be it work, school or some family function. Please message me if you need someone to chat with. I am here for you.
