I also attended the 3 week program twice. It helped, and after the program I was much more fluent. But, if you don't keep up with the work the results will quickly disappear. I also think that although the techniques work, the fact that you're spending that much time with other people who stutter you're much more at ease and the stuttering and anxiety drops off dramatically. Thrown into the real world after 3 weeks of intensive therapy is very hard and the results will not stay if you don't keep up with the exercises. This is something I have struggled with. I loved the staff and am still in touch with Alison today. I highly recommend it. Go in with an open mind and be prepared to work hard.
