Of course Something that I have learned is that when I start to stutter at the start of a sentence taking a deep breath and adding a breathy "h" sound can help me get past the first words or stop speaking so I can try again. I also would mostly stutter when I thought about what I wanted to say, so what I would do was make random noises in my head right before I spoke, and this did work for me. Something else is tapping my foot or finger on something to help me get in the flow of a sentence. Also, if you begin to tense up when trying to say a word, take a deep breath and try again. It's important to try and fill your life with people who will be patient with you because you will have to practice. A good practice you can do alone is reading a book out loud, if you stutter after thinking about the sentence you want to say next I'd recommend practicing with children's books as they tend to be repetitive. More specifically, those that are repetitive like "There was an old lady who swallowed a fly" Which is what my speech teacher had me use. I wish you luck.
