Just going through this with my 14yr old daughter right at this moment. She has tics and a stutter. They were pretty good for a while but lately. Off the scale. But it’s mainly just for me and her brother. Everyone … just normal.  I mean for me, every sentence is like super hard to get out  She has tried so many strategies, talk fast to get it out Slow down to try get it out  Visualise the word  Spell the word  Talk like a robot 😂  this one makes us laugh (but it works sometimes)  At first it scared me sooo much I was getting triggered thinking she was doing this with others. But no, just me!  We went to the doctors today cos the morning stutters really worried me so called the doc and went straight there. Stuttered the whole way there so badly. Got out of the car, went into doc room  And hardly a stutter 😮  Same for school  And her sports (stutters a little but nothing like to me)  I thought it was me making her 😢 and she would get sooo upset that it wouldn’t “come out” (I can only imagine)  She said like you, 💯 it’s cos she is comfortable with me and doesn’t feel judged  but u would think she could sort it with me then. 🤷‍♀️  I think I have pinned it to a medication we were taking so have stopped this and will have to see if things improve to how they were. But always been worse with her mumma 🤷‍♀️  So, u aren’t the only one.  Hope things improve 🤗
