Im not going to tell you it doesn't suck, of course, it sucks. The thing is, as you get older things sucking bother you less and stuttering is no different. There are at least two major silver linings though: A) it's an asshole detector, most people have to be around new people for hours before discovering if they are an asshole or not, you find that out the moment they smile and ask if you forgot your name. B) friends/family/significant-others can read your mood a lot easier based on how blocked/fluent you currently are compared to your baseline, being easier to read makes for better relationships of all forms. A few silver linings does not mean it's "worth it" though. But what other option do you have?
