I have a very similar issue. I stutter the most around my sister and mother, and around strangers or acquaintances I can speak much more fluently. I've heard some people say they dont stutter when they put on a fake voice or accent, and I think that's what's happening for me, since I speak in kind of a "customer service voice" around strangers.
