Sorry for the late reply! My stutter is relatively mild compared to a lot of people, but the most I do is go to speech therapy once every couple of years (I live in the UK where it's provided free), and as I had early intervention (I saw a speech therapist for the first time when I was 3) I think I found it easier to deal with my stutter. But to be honest, I always found it hard to motivate myself to use the techniques the therapist taught me, it just felt really unnatural to me! I've looked into SpeechEasy devices but as my stutter isn't very severe anymore it just seems like a very expensive device for a small thing... Although I don't stutter as often as I used to, the body movements that accompany it can intimidate some people :P and it's so embarrassing when I can't say a word... How do you deal with it? :)
