Jackie, don't apologize. I really enjoyed reading what you had to say (and I'm sure others did as well.) It's so interesting that you stutter but your twin doesn't? Why do you think that is? Do you have any relatives that stutter? It's also great that you mentioned your experience with the SpeechEasy device because there are times where I've been really tempted to get one, but the price is ridiculous. Like I get people have to get paid for the work that they do, but I seriously doubt a device like that is worth $5000 material-wise. But market it to people who stutter with testimonials that it somehow makes them fluent, evidently it'll attract them; selling hope to the hopeless. I have an app that has a similar effect, though I rarely use it. I think you being a vet answering phones and dealing with people is the best free speech therapy you or anyone can get. Congrats on your 3 year relationship, thanks for sharing!
