Hey, mid-30s here. I was taking Buspar for anxiety and noticed a tremendous decrease in my stuttering. I took it for a few months until my insurance ran out, and now I feel like I'm worse now than before I started. I'm in the same boat as you but I was looking into seeing another physician once I get a job with decent medical benefits. I feel like I needed something to help me get over the stuttering hump. Have you seen this? I'd love to try it but I don't know how effective it is to ask a doctor to prescribe specific drugs. I feel like that's a red flag for them. http://www.stutteringhelp.org/alprazolam-citalopram-and-clomipramine-stuttering
